USU Visit

We coordinated a visit to USU around our Bear Lake trip so Kars could tour the campus. Utah State is a top contender for college in another year. After leaving Garden City we headed for Logan. Mark took these two for a brief hike in the canyon. Emmrey and I kept each other company in the car.
By the time we got settled in the hotel, we were all pretty hungry. We were close enough to walk downtown and tried out this really great sandwich shop.
Logan is one of those places that just feels like home to me.
I love this town and love the idea of possibly spending more time there.
In keeping with tradition, Kars also got a USU shirt at the bookstore.
After the tour, we had lunch on campus (so many choices, we all ended up eating at different places). We were super excited to receive complimentary Aggie ice-cream coupons, only to find out {upon arrival at the Creamery} that it was for a prepackaged cup sold at the bookstore. So we opted for the real deal and our lucky nephew got some free ice cream coupons in the mail:)
We left Logan mid day and headed for Evanston where we were staying overnight.
We did take some time to fish the beloved Logan River first.
she did fish ... just tired of it before the others:)

The reason for the extra night in Evanston was so Mark could meet up with the AIS crew and help out at the check station. So while he worked, the girls and I went and checked out the cute local movie theater to see Lion King before picking Mark up for dinner.
