A few weeks after we moved the van was due for registration. We had read that you only have 90 days after your residency to change your plates. We thought me might be able to squeak in another year and just renew through the mail with Park County, but we figured it wasn't worth the possibility of having to pay registration twice (if they caught us;). So we went through the process of getting the car registered in it's new state. It was a bit surreal watching Mark remove the Wyoming plate and replace it with the Colorado one. I could feel a little lump in my throat. We have had Wyoming plates for almost 14 years and Park County plates for 10. It is strange to see our van with anything else....makes me a bit sad. I know...it's just a license plate!! Every now and then (actually more than you would think) we see a car pass by with county 11 plates and our heart sorta skips a beat <3
Awe...sometimes it's the littlest things that get ya. You'll be a full blown Colorado folks in no time.
