Jackson

We picked Bailee up from camp on a Friday morning and left again Sunday afternoon for Jackson Hole.  Mark had planned to work with the Fish Crew that week and we had decided early in the year to make it a family trip.  We traveled through Pinedale and stopped to fish for a bit in the Hoback River.

even Bailee fished, dress and all;)
Exploring town....
The last 2 times we have done this, we were lucky enough to get my parents Condo through their time-share.  However, this time it was the week of the 24th [a big holiday for Utahns]. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to secure it for us. Hotels were booking quickly and most had a rate that was far above what the State will pay for, so we ended up at Motel 6.  I don't believe I have ever stayed at a Motel 6 [maybe as a kid?], but at least the Jackson one was pretty decent and c'mon....they do "leave the light on for you".  The weather was beautiful and they had an outdoor pool.  Everyone else would leave for the day to go do the tourist thing, so while Mark was working on the river, we would swim. We had it almost completely to ourselves everyday.
We even lunched by the pool.....
We made our way into some of the shops....
 Enjoyed some ice-cream....of course!
We managed to catch the nightly Shootout in Town Square.
Along with about every other tourist visiting Jackson
It was their Centennial Celebration ...so that was kind of a big deal

And we peaked at the beautiful Tetons
It was a great little getaway.  Too bad Mark had to work most of it [he enjoyed his time as well]
