Per Marks request, we went on a family camp out for a few days following Father's Day. We decided to stay closer to home and try out Poudre Canyon . We didn't have any specific campground in mind and finally settled on a small one along the upper Poudre River and pretty much had the place to ourselves. . We hiked some steep and strenuous terrain on Big South and Roaring Creek Trails. We fished, read, played in the water, told stories by the campfire, and were entertained by the squirrel who was playing with a can [which it got off the table..bold little thing]. We also stopped in at the Poudre River Fish Hatchery and coincidentally ran into a girl that used to be a technician for Mark. The girls had fun feeding the fish in the pond. We spent 3 days enjoying the serenity of the mountains and I think it is just what Mark wanted:)
