Since we were in Utah early, we had a few extra days that were wide open. We decided to try out the Taylorsville Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon.
We met up with some family for lunch and then headed to to pool.
By the time we arrived, the sky was looking iffy....
We bought our tickets and went in but because it had been lightning, they made everyone stay out of the water. We waited patiently for about 45 minutes for the storm to pass. Eventually they made the call to close the pool until 4:00.
When we came back we were more than ready to swim .. .. .Olivia gained some independence with the life jacket and she was pretty pleased with herself swimming all over that pool!
This girl LOVED the slide and went down that thing over and over. There was only a lifeguard at the bottom so she took advantage of sliding down however she wanted and then sitting upright at the end {such a rule breaker;}
These guys were rock stars on the high dive. Try as they might ... they could not convince me to jump. I did go off the smaller one a couple of times.

This girl had so much fun and did not want to take off that jacket to go home.
We swam way into the evening. Had a great time despite the weather trying to spoil it and are happy we got to share the day with some of our favorites!
