Our final day of our California trip was spent killing quite a bit of time. We woke up to pouring rain so we needed something to occupy us preferably indoors. We did a little t-shirt shopping for the girls and just looking around some. It finally dried up a bit and so we thought it appropriate to have lunch at California's first drive thru hamburger stand. In-N-Out is pretty much a California tradition isn't it?
We found a park and played for a while
We had to return our rental car by 4:00 and our flight didn't depart until 7:00
so we had some waiting time ahead of us

Soon after we got settled in the airport we were informed that our flight was delayed an hour ....ugh!
I love some good people watching, but it's less entertaining after 3+hours.
Good thing we had this girl to keep us entertained;)
We finally made it to Denver. With the time change, waiting for shuttles, forgetting where our car was parked (seriously we walked around a huge parking lot freezing for more time than I care to admit) and driving to Wellington, we were rolling in about midnight.
We were all exhausted and glad to be home at that point. We had a wonderful week in paradise and we are still California Dreamin'..... until next time.
