I remember as a child bride when I would hear people say they had been married 20+ years I would think that seemed so "old". Yet here we are beginning our 23rd year of marriage and I don't feel old at all {well sometimes}. Mark brought me flowers and breakfast to start the day .... ha!
We celebrated the way any "old" couple who has just returned from a week in California would. Tacos and a movie. We did try out Torchy's which just came to our area and was highly recommended by my brother. So that was new and exciting!
It was low key and yet still fun. I could have fun doing almost anything or nothing much with this guy.
