Emmrey had her end of year dance recital on may 5th.
She reminded us that morning of the important events that day ....
Bailee still had another week of school so it was just the three of us in the audience.
We have stayed with this group mainly because it is the only one that is exclusively in Wellington (practice and recitals) and I don't want another reason to drive back and forth to Fort Collins. There is another dance company that has a studio in town for practice, but they perform with their larger group housed in FoCo. We are definitely considering the switch next year if Emm wants to continue to dance. The group has grown in the Hip Hop and preschool classes, but not so much in Emm's age and style. Mini Kick went from about 12 students mid year to 3 at this recital.
There is a whole lotta cuteness packed into the little trio ...
Emm is only a year older than the other two (it's amazing the leap in height she took this year)

Emm loves to dance ... but I don't like seeing her enthusiasm decrease as the numbers and commitment decline:(
We headed home in time for a Cinco de Mayo feast Marco prepared for us.
We had street tacos, guacamole and THREE different types of pico (regular, pineapple and mango) When he makes dinner ..... he kinda shows off;) It was muy buena!
