Emmrey's somewhat impromptu dance performance was the perfect excuse to spend an
afternoon at Harvest Farm.
I say "impromptu" because classes had just started back up for the year when her instructor informed them they would be dancing. They had a few weeks to learn a routine so it might have appeared they were just doing it on the fly;)
After the 3 minute performance, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall day and
enjoy some of the activities.
We bought a Donut Sundae from the Liquid N2 Ice Cream truck they had on site. The ice cream is handcrafted using liquid nitrogen (similar to Dippin' Dots). It was good, but none of us were blown away.
We watched the pig races for a bit and cheered on piggies with names like TuPork Shakur and Notorious P.I.G;)
The Corn Maze was a must, especially since our attempt with Ashlee failed. This one has three routes based on difficulty and 12 check stations that you are supposed to be able to find .... we found 4 before we gave up.
It was tough and although we made it out, it was more accidental. I loved spending time with these two girls!
