Ashlee came for a visit the last weekend in September. I picked her up Thursday morning from DIA and we had some lunch before heading to Poudre to get Kars for a visit to The Center for Fine Art Photography for a school assignment.
The following day we went to the Promenade Shops at Centerra for a little shopping and lunch.
Mark was out of town until late Friday so it was just us girls.
Karsyn really wanted to check out the Halloween store and we spent way too much time there.
The plan was to Bartels Farm and do the corn maze. It had been rainy all week and although the skies were clear the ground was so muddy. After the nice lady at the farm confirmed that it would be less than ideal, we grabbed a quick photo and decided on a movie instead. We saw Wonder Woman. They all thought it was pretty good, I thought it was terrible (and I was a Wonder Woman fan back in my childhood)!

This also happened to be Family Weekend at UW which was perfect since Ashlee wanted to go visit Bailee anyway. We drove to Laramie Saturday morning for some time on campus and a football game.
The colors on campus were gorgeous!
We were all pretty excited to see our Cowgirl.
We had some lunch and Bailee showed the girls around her dorm.
The game was so fun ... even though I am not a big football fan.
They played Texas State and won 45-10

The weather was decent ... just a little chilly until the end of the fourth quarter when the sky got dark and we ran back to the car in a downpour.
We lingered as long as we felt like we could, had dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and said goodbye to Bailee. Sunday morning we took it easy and then drove south toward Denver to get Ashlee to the airport. We stopped at Mooyah for burgers and shakes and walked around the outdoor shopping center for a bit.
It seemed like such a short visit, but we had so much fun with her. Hopefully she did too!
