We grew quite a few pumpkins in our garden this year. We had an early freeze that resulted in several of them having to be harvested early and others not reaching their full potential in size. We still ended up with about 30 pumpkins and after setting aside a half dozen for us to carve later we were left wondering what to do with all these little ones. Mark suggested that Emmrey could sell them in front of our house. I'm not sure if he really thought it would go anywhere, but if you give Emmrey a glimmer of opportunity to make money she is all over it!
She loaded up those pumpkins, made a sign, and opened shop. Within a half an hour she had sold every one of them and made herself a nice profit of $8.25. Not bad for a days work!
