Mark and the girls surprised me with a last minute trip to Utah for Mother's Day. By last minute, I mean they told me a few days before. I was thrilled, because that meant we could be a part of the parade my family was planning for my mom. We surprised Shirley by stopping in there when we arrived on Saturday.
Since the weather was nice, we didn't think there would be any danger in stopping in for a visit outside. I am not sure if they were nervous about us being there or not.
They put on their masks, so we did the same.

Mark planted some Lilly starts he had brought and we visited on the deck for a while before leaving her with her cookies and flowers.
We didn't feel comfortable staying with anyone so Mark made a reservation at a hotel in South Jordan.
We had some In-N-Out for dinner.

When Mark and I got back from picking up the food, the front desk informed us that we had a package. It was our Box of Sunshine!! We were so excited about all the fun goodies inside.
Those Hi-Chews didn't make it more than an hour.

Sunday morning we met at my parents church parking lot to get our cars decorated.
A quick pic of the sister Moms.
Then drove down Bar M horns-a-blarin'.

It was a surprise for my mom, although my dad had to tell her just before we came
so she would go to the porch.
We delivered brunch and a gift basket. Leslie had these cute lawn signs made and had dropped them off earlier with balloons. It was quite a sight on her front lawn. She heard from many neighbors later who thought it was pretty fantastic. Some of them had come out to see what all the commotion was, so we honked and yelled wishes to those mom's too.

Pretty huge impact this lady has made on all of us. We were only missing Ryan and Sean from our line up. Leslie was there, so I am not sure how she missed the photo.
The route continued on past The Morris' so we could wish Suzie a Happy Mother's Day too.

Since The Smith's live on a very busy road, Mark didn't think a parade would be practical. At the last minute my sisters convinced him that we could swing by there, so he called his parents and told them to come outside.
My family all picked up food and we met at a park for a picnic with social distancing.

From there we had to head back home. It was a quick 24 hours, but so worth it. I am the luckiest momma ever to have these amazing girls and Mark who made this happen for me. ❤️
