Since Karsyn's graduation is postponed until July, we still wanted to do something to commemorate the day that was supposed to be her graduation. May 22nd. Because we were leaving for a little trip that day, we had a special Graduation dinner the night before.
Her choice was to grill hot dogs and asparagus with fruit on the side. Mark decided to get her a steak.
We got the place all decorated with everything we needed thanks to Leslie's Party in a Box that she had given Kars. It was perfect. Complete with all the family members that couldn't be with her.
She opened the gift from Gpa & Gma and we all had a good laugh with the little dog spinning around singing " Best Day of my Life". Bailee pulled out her Owl so they could perform together.
The following Wednesday, the youth leaders planned a drive by parade for the three seniors from church.
It was held out at the Martin family property, which was a nice alternative to a neighborhood. Leslie's decorations came in very handy;)
The three graduates were Kars, Jarod Hoggan and Ty Mortensen.
I am so glad that Kars participated and that she took my advice to at least take her cap;)
It was so nice to see so much support for these graduates.
I am so appreciative to those who organized this.
