Tubing the Poudre

We finally got to one of the things on our Bucket List since moving here.
Tubing the Poudre River is a popular summer pastime around here.
You can get in and out at various spots along the river. It all depends on how much you want to walk. We used feet and not a car to shuttle back and forth, but that is an option too.
We floated on two separate weekends hoping we would get Bailee on one of them. The first time she was volunteering with Columbine Care Facility so Mark just took Kars and Emm.
We tried again a few weeks later and it was looking like we were all going to make it, but Bay ended up sick that day {I think it was exhaustion from working non-stop all summer}
 This time of year the float is pretty mild and relaxing. Earlier in the summer it is not recommended due to water being too high and fast.
 There are one or two spots that give you a little thrill ride ... "The Chute"
It was super fun and I am so happy we finally made it happen!
