WOW .. .. where has May gone? We started out the month with a little Cinco de Mayo celebration. Kars had to attend a cultural event for Spanish and she really wanted to go to this. I was all for it and was looking forward to being submerged in Hispanic traditions. Sadly, it was just like any old street fair with the exception of Spanish music playing on the stage and a few taco booths:/
Home Depot was there and Emmrey did get to make a birdhouse .. ...
and nothing says Cinco de Mayo quite like giant water balls
We looked around for something a little more authentic and came across these delicious tacos .. ... delicious!
So it wasn't everything we had hoped it would be .. ... but we did get a little taste of Mexico!
