In mid November, the tree left the Bridger-Teton Forest and began to make its journey across the state to DC. We made sure we were there for the big event. The 67 foot spruce stopped in Cody and stayed overnight. We were so excited to see the big tree, unfortunately a peek through the plexi-glass was the only view we would get (yes, I expected it to arrive fully decorated in all its glory:)
It was a great atmosphere with all the excitement, the chamber provided "Buffalo Bill" beard and mustache for all to wear
We made sure to sign the banner on the truck carrying the tree
What a neat historical event to be a part of...so glad we were there!
