Someone at our house has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Puck. She has been checking the porch because that is how he has come to us in previous years. Yesterday she was all ready to walk out the door for school when Mark asked her to check if the tree needed water. Lo and behold, look who was hanging out under the tree.
Emm literally screamed "Mom come look!" She was sooo excited. He brought us a cozy blanket to read our books with as well as a note reminding us to focus on giving and not getting. I am so glad Puck is not one of those "high maintenance naughty elves" ;)
She poured over every word and had a skip in her step as she headed off for school.
