Eagle

In the middle of swim season, Karsyn started her season with the 7th grade basketball team. She played on the JV team. She was a little bummed that she didn't get #15 since that is "her number", but she got over it and had a good season as #20. I was surprised at how many of the girls were taller than Kars. I think she is pretty tall {nearly as tall as me}, but there were a handful of gals that were giants!
The girls played decent, but it was a rough season. They won just a few of their games. Kars was definitely the best shooter on the team, but her coach was pushing her to be more aggressive. That is her challenge between now and next season!
She really enjoyed hanging out with her fellow Lady Eagles everyday after school and made some good friends from the team.
Her Beehive group from church came and watched one of her last games. She was pleasantly surprised about that and although she doesn't always show it, she was very happy they came.
Natalie Bond, Michaela Carter, Karsyn, Lisa Hoggan and Malia Barratta

Kars had been begging for these Veggie Straws so I decided to get her very own bag in honor of her last game. She also got some new basketball socks ..  .. the girl is kinda funny about her socks;)

So proud of our little (or big) Eagle .. ..  aggressive or not, she is just an all around great kid!!
