Mother Daughter Campout

Our ward had a Mother Daughter camp out the end of September.  It was help at Batel Ranch Camp in Southeast Wyoming just outside of Laramie.

I think when they found out that I was planning to go and realized that since we have all girls =no kids at home, they decided to ask Mark to come along as a "male chaperone". We all had a good time, but it felt a little more like a family camp out with a whole bunch of mothers and daughters. Just us girls slept in our tent to make it a little more authentic.
We picked the prime tent spot apparently and it quickly became the sandbox of choice.
Bailee did a little bit of babysitting while some of the moms got set up
Emmrey and her little buddy Shelby were completely inseparable.
The ropes course was also a popular hang out spot
Even for this guy....
Emmrey saw it as a perfect opportunity to refine her trick bar skills
And this giant teeter totter of sorts was well used....got a little dangerous at times;)
It was short and sweet and I loved being with my girls....[and guy]

  1. Looks like a fun campout...with lots of sand! Must have been like camping at the beach when you got home.
