Emm's 12th birthday started off with a quick breakfast in bed. She is a little obsessed with the Naked smoothies these days, and put in a request for the green one. Then it was off to school for the day.
I had rushed home a little bit before her bus arrived to get her room ready with new bedding.
Her friends had decorated her locker and lefts some surprises.
Kars had to work until 6:30. So waiting for her and Mark to get home was torturous for a kid that has a hard time waiting.
We enjoyed a brief storm and a double rainbow in the meantime.
Mark came home a little early and we gave her another surprise.... a classic cruiser! She was thrilled to now have a cruiser like her sisters. She jumped right on that thing and cruised around the neighborhood.
Her choice for dinner was Dickey's. For their mac n cheese and ice-cream.
She finally got to wrap that Sloth around her!
She really wanted a Hedgehog for her birthday ... or she would have taken a sloth .... or a Llama (her 3 obsessions right now). This mug was perfect for her .... in more than one way;)
She also opened, some Who Was ... books, a new game, Hedgehog journal, clothes, and earrings. She got $$ from Grandpa & Grandma Smith and game, adorable PJ's and a Chick Fil A card from Grampa Wayne & Gramma Cheryl. She can hardly wait to get that Frozen Lemonade!
We had cupcakes from the Cakery since we already had ice-cream at dinner.
We sure are glad we have had this girl in our life for 12 years. Wish it would all slow down, but we're trying really hard to enjoy every minute. Love you the most Aliseđź’“
