The day after we got home from Yellowstone Jami, Scott and their boys came for a visit. They could only stay a few days, but we are so glad they were able to squeeze it in. Every day they were here it rained! We spent most of the time just hanging out around the house.
They were a big help with Stewy and loved watching him run around.
We did go check out the new Pirate Park in town (it was on our Summer Bucket List)
The girls had been hoping to go to Water World with their cousins, but with the rain it just wasn't the most appealing idea. So instead, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
I am pretty sure that half the state had the same idea. It was so so crowded .. .. ugh! The body exhibit is the most hands-on but it was also the busiest so it was impossible to do everything. The museum is pretty big and we didn't even make it to everything. We also spent time in Space Odyssey, Prehistoric Journey, Egyptian Mummies, Mythic Creatures and a small part of the Wildlife area. We also went to an IMAX movie.
By the end, we were all .. ... DONE:) Walking around a big museum with tons of people, no matter how fun, will wear you down. Thankfully we were in good company. I am so glad that we got to spend a few days with the Weavers. Come again soon!
