Company over the 4th

This past week we had company.  Aunt Ashlee and Bode came out to stay with us for a few days.  We started off the visit with Cody's annual 4th of July Parade....

 

It was a mess of people and in order to get any shade, we had to sit a bit back from the street.  This made for comfy conditions, but not so great candy retrieving.  So the kids had to work for their candy....some worked harder than others and it payed off:} 

 Since we already had a reservation in Yellowstone to camp, most of their time with us was spent there...

 ..some of us pondered life {or were trying to get a sliver out:}

 We played games

 And saw lots and lots of these big guys {we also saw a big Griz and 2 wolves, but not close enough to get a good picture}  The wolves were a treat....you don't see those everyday in Yellowstone.

 We hiked around

 ...and even had a little DS time {ugh:}

 We woke up to the smells of yummy camp breakfast {thank you hon}

 We played at the Lake

 ...had picnics...

 ...Karsyn and Bode built kingdom "Obsidias"

 ...but mostly just drank up spending time together

We didn't spend much time back at our house, but the time we did was just relaxing with 

one of our favorite aunts

Our girls could have done nothing at all and still had the best time with their cousin...he and Kars are like two peas in a pod!!
