WCHC

We spent this past weekend in Sheridan for the Wyoming Children's Honor Choir. Bailee was one of two 6th graders from Cody selected to attend All State. The drive is only about 3 1/2 hours long, but it was such a gorgeous day we could not resist stopping at the park to play for a while. This was a great park in the little town of Greybull, maybe the most attractive thing there;)

We made a trip to Home Depot while Bailee was at her all day practice and Kars and Emm picked up these new iPads;) Who knew wood floor samples could be so entertaining...don't you just love kids with imaginations!! These little blocks of wood came with us all weekend.

Bailee practiced most of Saturday and then we had the privilege of watching and listening to her perform with the choir comprised of 4-8th graders from all over the state.(Bailee is front and center on row 1)

The guest composer/director was Ken Berg from Alabama. He and his wife Susan are the Music Directors for a boys choir in Birmingham. They also travel all over the world as guest clinicians for childrens choirs.

We so enjoyed the concert and seeing our little Bug shine. We also enjoyed those dreamy summer evenings where you can go for a walk at 8:30 and still feel the warmth....

Oh the joy of sitting outside and eating some yummy frozen custard!!

On our way home, we stopped in Story for a little day hike (Karsyn was so not interested in having her picture taken)

It was a great weekend getaway!!
