Emm and I met Bailee in windy Cheyenne for a quick bite and a little shopping.
Gifts for the team to start the year off remotely.
Made some freezer salsa with our garden produce.
Dinner date at Cane's ....
... with our WEB Leader who had to do her leading through Google Meets.
Aunt Tanya became a pirate and married Michael Brown. They will sail around the world delivering boats.
OCTOBER
Emm and I started our rat charade with the plastic rats we inherited last Halloween?
Early voting ... pretty easy decision!
Bring your pet to morning meeting .... yes, we had a goat, a snake, pigs and cows;)
Getting my room ready for our A/B days starting October 19th.
Date nights at Spoons with the supper crowds (nearly have the place to ourselves) while Emm is at dance.

Setting the mood for Mystery Writing
First day of Hybrid for this girl. She will be in person T/Th and asynchronous the other three days.

NOVEMBER
Mi madre had her birthday ... isn't she a beauty!
We flew Kars home to finish out the semester remotely.
While she was home there were nightly movies in the office with Emm's fantastic yard sale find.
My 4th graders made yarn dolls after we finished our read aloud of Esperanza Rising.
Learned we would be transitioning back to Phase 1 (100% remote) until after winter break.
Truly have the BEST CLASS!
Enlisted my helpers to prep Book Study packets to go home for remote learning again.
Snuck in our Book Tasting while we were still in person.
Nope! Just playing a prank on Bailee's friends;)
